Recently, we unveiled our newest venue – the beautiful Rosebery Steading.

This luxury rustic wedding venue is wonderfully unique, comprising two expansive barn spaces, state of the art light and sound technology, a bespoke bar and accommodation for up to 28 guests designed by award-winning interior designers.

Showcasing this amazing venue

An exceptional venue like this requires exceptional photography, so we engaged the help of esteemed art photographer, Adrian Houston, to help us showcase Rosebery Steading to engaged couples planning their rustic weddings at our venue.

Based in London’s Soho, Adrian came to shoot at the Steading in Midlothian in October of 2020. With work that has been exhibited at The National Gallery and The Royal Academy of Arts, we knew his artistic eye could capture the natural beauty of the freshly renovated Rosebery Steading and reveal its potential.

Adrian is also a personal friend to the Estate and Dalmeny family - he knows the landscapes well and always captures them beautifully in his photography.

A silver lining

While developments at Rosebery Steading were ongoing, we took advantage of the downtime and space to dress our venue, set the stage and add some theatre to what had been a quiet site prior.

Besides Adrian, we enlisted our amazing team of trusted suppliers, including Planet Flowers, Blue Sky Photography, Core Event Services, Honeycomb & Co, 88 Events and Cairns & Scott, to really make this venue shine!

The upside of having downtime has been having the opportunity to show our future guests how stunning this venue could be - we displayed it in a range of set ups, styling and lighting to really highlight the Steading’s versatility and flexibility as one of Scotland’s most exciting modern barn wedding venues.

A timelessly chic space

As you can see from Adrian’s incredible shots, he has captured the elegant yet rustic feel of Rosebery Steading perfectly. As a wedding and events venue, the Steading is unrivalled in its unique personality and historic yet modern atmosphere.

In addition, Adrian took some shots of the gorgeous landscapes which surround the Steading and some of our pretty cottages on Rosebery Estate. They highlight some of the glorious scenery you can expect during a visit to the Steading!

We just know that events at Rosebery Steading are going to be glorious - why not enquire now before our bookings fill up for the coming year?
