Rosebery House was built by the 5th Earl of Rosebery as a country retreat for friends and family. For generations it has been cherished as a home but also as a spectacular venue for socialising and partying.

Today, Rosebery House combines the comfort of a home with the splendour of a great country house. It is available for exclusive-hire throughout the year for private parties and special events, including weddings.

Exclusive use of the facilities includes our tennis court, woodland walks, chapel venue, orangery and games room, with every occasion tailored by our wonderful events team.

Intimate yet grand

The scale of the house makes an impression. The expansive sitting room and orangery provide plenty of entertaining space for an extraordinary party. Yet it is the house's size that also allows space to enjoy quieter moments. The smaller rooms allow for intimate gatherings or moments alone.

Bespoke parties designed for you

Throw a house party! Your guests can enjoy a formal dinner in the gold dining room, surrounded by ancestral portraits. Perhaps you'd prefer a more relaxed dining experience in the orangery whilst admiring the extensive grounds?

Discreet & professional

We offer dedicated hospitality services throughout all events. The house can also be fully staffed with a private chef, butler and maid services. Suitable entertainments can also be arranged at your request.

Combine Rosebery House with Rosebery Steading - only a few minutes walk away. Here there is room for 28 overnight guests and 100 guests for dining or celebrating.
